CATNAP Casting was set up in 2014 by Cathy Hollies, an industry expert with over 15 years of experience in Casting and Production.

 

From her first industry job in 2004, as the Head of Casting at Ireland's largest background agency, Cathy soon found herself crowd coordinating and AD'ing on TV dramas and feature films.

 

Keen to gain a more rounded experience within the media industry, Cathy moved to the UK in 2007 to flex her casting muscles in the world of TV production. Before long she had picked up a camera, working her actual muscles, and was shooting for broadcast on shows for the BBC, Channel 4 and Discovery.

 

Content, for the time being, with her foray into the creative, Cathy returned to her roots in 2012, joining a London-based background agency as the Head of Commercials. Keen to redress her work-life balance, in 2014 Cathy took the plunge and set up her own company, CATNAP Casting, offering her clients a personal, efficient and dedicated service.

Since its incarnation, CATNAP has worked on several major Motion Pictures and TV Dramas as well as continuing Cathy's strong relationships within the Commercials sector.
